Skin Care Routine

If you're like me, you hit 25 and suddenly realized you needed to start actually taking care of your skin. I use the word 'actually' only because at 25, taking care of my skin simply meant washing my makeup off at night. At 27, I realized I still didn't totally have the whole 'skin care routine' down and nothing makes you start questioning your self like getting engaged.
I have this very particular image in my head of what a bride looks like and my acne scarred, dry skin was not it.
I've struggled with cystic acne for most of my young adult life. I've tried every cream, antibiotic and magic face wash there is. And none of it worked, permanently. In college, I finally found a dermatologist that got to the root of my issue. She put me on a medicine called spironolactone. HELLO life changer. While I do still get whiteheads from time to time, my cystic acne is a thing of the past.
A recent addition that has helped the texture of my skin is the Glamglow Supercleanse face wash. It's clearing and non-drying. It starts as a mud and turns to foam, so don't use a white wash cloth with it. I put it on my Clarisonic and get busy making my face clean :)
With my acne prone skin, moisturizer easily breaks me out. The Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre has NEVER broken me out, and is SUPER moisturizing. I first got it in a Birchbox, and have been hooked ever since.
So, with my magic pills and a few beauty routine updates, I would say that I have the best skin I've had since I was a child - all thanks to Brad putting a ring on my finger. Above are the things I use daily.
What are your favorite skin care products? Do you have any skin care secrets you swear by?
Xoxo,
Paige
